NOTICE

On Monday May 22, 2023, the Orange Water Department will be shutting down a section of South Main St. between the Myrtle St. intersection and the Gay St./Burrill Ave. intersection for a new main valve cluster, and tie in for the Blodgett Street water main replacement project. It is expected to be shut down between 8am to approximately 11am. We will be hanging door notices on properties that will be directly affected by this shut down. This activity is expected to cause some flow disruptions and create some discoloration in the water that should clear by the end of the day. Unfortunately, there is no avoiding this situation to do what needs to be done.
