The bridge on Brookside Road will remain closed for at least a year. After further inspection of the bridge superstructure, it was found that multiple issues beyond the deck that need immediate attention. MassDot will be preparing the project for design and rehabilitation. Contract development, advertisement and construction will be completed on an expedited basis.
